The Festival Kino 13 was held from Wednesday, May 19 to Sunday, May 23, 2010. A friend and I drove down for the festival, and were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and entertaining the event was, and how well the city government and volunteers did in coordinating the event.

The event was actually a series of events - great music, displays, dance, art, and ambiance. It was well attended by enthusiastic people who packed the concert venues and had a great time. And who were also very friendly, making us feel very welcome.

In fact, the residents of Magdalena were excellent ambassadors for the town.
